Carbine models and prices are used for people who work at a height as part of equipment for ensuring occupational safety. There are different carbine models available according to the surface to be worked with:
- Oval carabiners
- D carbines
- Pear carabiners
- Carabiners with a wide mouth opening
The most commonly used type of carbine today is oval carbines. D carbines are more powerful when we compare them with oval carbines. They become D-shaped, and as soon as the load gets on the door side, it gets on the body on the opposite side of the door. For this reason, D carbines are quite difficult to break.
Pear carbines are most often used for people engaged in mountaineering. It has a wide mouth, and therefore ensures safety on landings and receiving safety. Carbines with a wide mouth opening are used in metals with a wide structure.
Prices for Carbines
Carbines have different model options. Due to the fact that carbine models and prices are different, their prices also differ depending on the model you have chosen. It is the responsibility of the employer to ensure occupational safety for those working in high and dangerous lines of work.
One of the important aspects when using a carbine for people working at altitude is that there is a locked door. If an unlocked carbine is used or if it is forgotten to lock the door, the door may open if a heavy load is placed on the carbine.
If the carbine door is opened due to the load, it breaks off the connection, which can lead to undesirable consequences. Because it will not prevent falling, serious injuries may occur as a result of falling. For this reason, it is most advantageous to use a carbine with an automatic lock.
Types of Carbines
It is quite important that the person working during the use of the carbine correctly positions the carbine. The load-bearing point should always be such that it spreads over the entire long edge.
People who will work at a height receive training before using occupational safety equipment and have knowledge about how to use the equipment. The equipment should be checked and maintained after each use.
It is important that the carbine and other equipment that will be used is selected in such a way as to bear the weight of the person. If the carbine has been damaged in any way during the inspection, it should definitely not be used again.
A different person should not use the same equipment, since carbines are specially selected according to one's weight.
